Frequently asked questions
Where do you deliver, and what does it cost?
Within 10 km of the kitchen by road. At a Bà Point: free. To your address: 10,000 VND a day up to 4 km, 20,000 VND from 4 to 8 km, 30,000 VND from 8 to 10 km. Beyond 10 km: Bà Points only.
What is a Bà Point?
Any place receiving 5 boxes or more a day in the same wave: a building lobby, an office or a home. With 25 boxes a week, delivery is free. Bring 4 colleagues, delivery is free.
Can I order for my whole household?
Yes. One person pays, buys one or more packs, and the meals are shared by up to 5 others, each with at most one meal a day. A colleague trying one meal simply uses one meal from your pack. At the same address, the household pays a single delivery fee per day.
What if I forget to choose?
Bà chooses for you at 18:00 on Friday, respecting your exclusions.
Want an extra meal during the week?
Go to the Add meals page (mekongbep.vn/en/them-bua), enter your phone number and a paid MKB reference, then choose 1 to 10 meals at 60,000 VND each, with no delivery fee. For lunch tomorrow, pay before 16:00 today. One meal per person per day.
Can I skip a day?
Cancel before 16:00 the day before and the meal is carried over to the following week.
Is it really hot?
Yes, up to 8 km: insulated crates, checked at 60°C minimum. If your meal is cold you get the meal back. Beyond 8 km, arriving hot is not guaranteed.
How do I pay?
VietQR from any banking app. MoMo and cards come later.
Can I pause?
Yes, up to 2 weeks per quarter on the monthly plan.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes, an electronic invoice on request. Companies get one invoice a month.
What about allergies?
For each person eating, choose the ingredients they avoid: pork, beef, chicken, fish & seafood, shrimp, egg, peanut. On days when the main dish contains one, the kitchen automatically swaps it for another dish of the day. Allergens (fish and fish sauce, shrimp, oyster, egg, soy, wheat, sesame, peanut) are shown on every dish. Mekong Bếp stores no health information.
Is there a vegetarian option?
Not for now. We'll say so here if that changes.
