Meals and validity
Each plan contains a number of meals (credits). One credit is one meal on one day. Each person receives at most one meal per day. A weekly plan is valid for one week, a monthly plan for four weeks. Public holidays, Tết and kitchen closure days extend the validity.
Choosing meals
You choose next week's meals before 18:00 on Friday. For any day you have not chosen, Mekong Bếp chooses for you, respecting the ingredients you excluded. Production is frozen on Saturday at 08:00.
Cancelling a day
If you cancel a day before 16:00 the day before, that meal is carried over. After that time the meal is still delivered.
Household account
One paying person buys one or more packs; the meals are shared by that person and up to 5 people eating with them. Each person receives at most one meal a day. The paying person confirms that the people eating with them (or the parents of children) agreed before giving their name and delivery place.
Delivery
We deliver in two waves: 11:00–11:20 and 11:30–11:50. At a Bà Point (25 boxes or more a week at the same place, set at 18:00 on Friday for the following week): free. Delivery to an address, per address and per delivery day: 10,000 VND up to 4 km by road, 20,000 VND from 4 to 8 km, 30,000 VND from 8 to 10 km. Beyond 10 km: active Bà Points only. Beyond 8 km, Mekong Bếp does not guarantee the meal arrives hot, and you confirm this before paying. If you are absent after 15 minutes, the box is left at reception where the place allows it.
Prices and delivery fees
Displayed prices include tax. Delivery fees are paid upfront with the packs for the delivery days within their period, on a separate invoice line; the monthly discount does not apply to them. When the plan ends, the fees for days paid but not delivered (or delivered free because your place became a Bà Point) are added to your Mekong Wallet.
Mekong Wallet
Mekong Bếp does not give cash back: every refund (unused delivery fees, overpayments, weeks not started, extra meals paid after a plan ended) goes to your Mekong Wallet and is deducted automatically from your next order.
Invitation boxes
Each day, your household can add up to 2 invitation boxes for someone else, taken from your shared meal pool, with an invitation card showing your referral code. If the person orders their first plan with this code, you each get 1 free meal (or 60,000đ in your Mekong Wallet if you have no plan running).
Allergies
Allergens are marked on every dish. Mekong Bếp stores no one's health information. You are responsible for excluding, for yourself and for each person eating with you, the ingredients they cannot eat.
